Omagh OPD and GP Centre Go Live

The Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Complex opened its doors to patients at 8am on 20 June 2017.
There are two wards (Palliative Care & Rehabilitation) with 40 single in-patient rooms to promote patient privacy and dignity whilst complying with the latest infection prevention and control standards; and 22 recovery beds for patients recuperating from Day Case Surgery.Four GP Practices are located in the Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Complex offering a wide range of general medical services to all registered patients.
All patients arriving at the new centre can take advantage of Savience patient arrival kiosks, situated in both the Hospital and within the GP practices. The kiosks are linked to the Hospital PAS as well as to the VAMP GP practice systems. Patient Call completes the picture with patients being called into clinic rooms or GP consulting rooms from their waiting areas.
