Savience software selected for UK government’s G-Cloud 11

1 July 2019 – Savience has today won a place on the UK government’s G-Cloud Digital Marketplace making it easier for NHS trusts to buy software applications to transform patient flows.
First introduced in 2012, the G-Cloud programme provides a framework for public sector bodies to buy approved cloud software and services on a pay-as-you-go basis from a central website. Buying services through G-Cloud is faster and cheaper than entering into individual procurements.
The 11th iteration is released today. Each iteration has delivered enhanced functionality and an increased volume of transactions with sales reaching £4.5 billion so far. This is set to rise as more public sector organisations are buying through the framework.

‘It puts an end to lengthy and costly procurements, including the familiar “beauty parade” of potential suppliers, by offering a convenient and cost-effective alternative. But it also gives buyers peace of mind that the software meets stringent quality standards and is fit-for-purpose, so is a huge commendation for Savience.’
The G-Cloud 11 procurement framework is divided into three lots; cloud hosting, cloud software, and cloud support. Savience has been awarded a place for its cloud-based software.
The agreement is for all Savience patient flows applications for outpatient clinic management and emergency department triage.
